MiTV, Nokia to Launch DVB-H Mobile TV in Malaysia in 2H 2007

Malaysia's MiTV and Nokia recently announced that they have forged a partnership to jointly launch a commercial mobile broadcast TV service in Malaysia, leveraging DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting - Handheld) technology. Under the agreement, Nokia will provide an end-to-end solution, including implementation, integration, and application development, for MiTV's 018 mobile TV service. This new DVB-H mobile TV service is slated for rollout in Malaysia in the second half of 2007.
